I've had what you might call an "all-you-can-eat buffet" of a career: I've piled a little bit of everything on my plate. I've uncovered massive corruption and nepotism in city contracts with a Chicago civic watchdog group; researched and produced hundreds of true-crime television documentaries, (including Psychic Detectives, natch); interviewed Pulitzer Prize and National Book Winners for public radio; ran a weekly newspaper in Serbia; did yoga with goats in North Carolina; produced/hosted a podcast on economic inequality; published an international finance magazine. My writing and reporting has appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic, CBS Evening News, 48 Hours, NPR, Chicago Magazine, Balkan Insight, Discovery Channel, Indy Week, Morning Brew and many others. For the last five years, I've been covering accounting, finance, and fraud as a writer, editor and publisher for a variety of organizations.
